Church of Living Christ “Rock Century”

The Church of Living Christ affirms the following foundational doctrines, rooted in the authority of Scripture and the historic Christian faith. These beliefs guide our teaching, worship, ministry, and daily life.

1. The Bible

We believe the Holy Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final guide for faith, doctrine, and conduct.

2. The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three coequal, co-eternal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Scripture: Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4

3. God the Father

We believe God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth, sovereign over all, perfect in holiness, wisdom, justice, and love.

Scripture: Genesis 1:1; Psalm 103:19; 1 John 3:1

4. Jesus Christ the Son

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. We affirm:

His virgin birth
His sinless life
His miracles
His atoning death on the cross
His bodily resurrection
His ascension into Heaven
His present intercession for believers
His future return in power and glory

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer, empowers the church, distributes spiritual gifts, and produces spiritual fruit in the lives of God’s people.

6. Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and personal acceptance of Christ’s sacrifice, the believer is forgiven, reborn, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and given eternal life.

7. The Church

We believe the universal Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers redeemed through His blood. The local church exists to worship God, teach the Word,

equip believers, administer the ordinances, and spread the Gospel.

8. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We affirm two ordinances instituted by Christ:

Baptism is a public declaration of faith and new life in Christ
The Lord’s Supper, as a memorial of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His return

9. Christian Living

We believe Christians are called to holiness, integrity, prayer, humility, service, and love for God and one another. The believer’s life should display the fruit of the Spirit and a continual pursuit of Christ’s likeness.

10. Marriage and Family

We believe God established marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church. Families are central to God’s design for discipleship and community.

11. The Sanctity of Life

We affirm that all human life is sacred from conception to natural death and is created in the image of God.

12. Christ’s Return and Eternal Hope

We believe Jesus Christ will return visibly and triumphantly. God will judge the living and the dead. Believers will experience eternal life with Christ, while separation awaits those who reject Him.
